About Us

I have always had a passion for fashion, thrifting and flipping. When the Pandemic hit I was a kinesiology student in University. With all classes being online, I had a fair amount of free time and I was itching to find something else to do. During the summer of 2020 I decided to set out on an adventure of flipping clothes. I scoured the internet for bundles of used clothes. I spent two month buying as many decent used clothes as I could. In September I transformed my garage into a tiny little clothing store. I opened my door on weekends and welcomed as many people as I could into my Garage. After doing this for several weekends the weather began to change and my garage would no longer be a viable option. Fortunately, I had made enough profits to lease a small space to continue my journey.

This was the first commercial space. A 1000 square foot office building that was less than Ideal for a retail store. To find this little gem you had to park in front of a pregnancy care center, go into a door that led to a empty dark staircase that eventually led to long hallway. This hallway was the entrance to multiple businesses that were much more suitable for the building than mine. Despite that, I grinded in that office building every day for six months, practically begging people to come visit me on that 2nd floor. I had to endure many lonely, discouraging days while still doing my online university classes.

I made it!

The long days of only seeing 3-5 customers (if i was lucky) were over. After 6 months, I had sold enough T Shirts to afford a prime location. A 1900 square foot building right in the heart of downtown Lethbridge. The community response was more than I ever could have imagined. After 4 months in the new location I was able to dropout of school and just focus on Poppin Tags. I am so grateful to everyone who has supported my business and I look forward to rest of the journey.
